The body as architecture
Designing balance, sculpting movement
From form to movement
A garment does not begin with a drawing.
It begins with an intention: to understand the body, accompany its movement and create an instantly recognisable silhouette.
Each piece emerges at the intersection of three disciplines: clothing, architecture and movement.

Building balance
At DAUSCHA, balance does not mean perfect symmetry. It emerges from the tension between several elements:
– Structure and flexibility
– Volume and precision
– Protection and freedom
– Visual presence and mastery of detail
Every line, every proportion and every transition between materials must serve a purpose.
Nothing should be added merely for decoration.
The concept
We do not seek merely to dress the surface of the body. We seek to build around it a balance between structure, freedom and presence.
A line can give a silhouette poise.
Volume can give it strength.
A material can transform the way it moves.
The garment then becomes architecture in motion.
Studying body
Every design begins with observing the body.
The proportions of the torso, the position of the shoulders, the range of the arms and the relationship between the different parts of the body directly inform the construction of the garment.
The aim is not to constrain the silhouette, but to find the point of balance between precision and ease.
The cut must hold its form at rest.
It must also remain balanced when the body moves.
